Well prepared for later - advising senior citizen tenants of Wohnstadt
To remain living in their own home as long as possible is the wish of most people. In order to provide the tenants of the residential area of the city with a comprehensive offer of services, the Nassauische Heimstätte/Wohnstadt has entered into a cooperative venture with the German Society for Senior Citizens mbH (DGS).
The elderly tenants will be informed in information sessions of the many kinds of help that are offered to each individual. The senior advisors to the DGS will touch upon highly practical issues: menu service, driving aids, emergency call systems, nursing, seniors tours and much more.
All tenants aged 60 or over who live in a large residential district of the city will be invited in writing by the business outlets in Kassel, Marburg and Fulda for an informative afternoon. Questions about the seniors accommodation can be raised and answered in an informal atmosphere, and for those who are interested, individual consultation can be arranged.
Naturally, a tenant can also use this service without participating in the information session. You just need to call the service number of the DGS, and then a senior consultant will come in person to your home for an initial consultation - for free!
