The independent club, „Wohnen & Leben e. V.“ is known best by many tenants as a social and cultural service provider: whether for the famous bouncy castle for children or the travel program, that is offered via the tenant newspaper „füreinander“. Founded in 1957, Wohnen & Leben is dedicated to the sustained development of neighborhood structures. The club members include the Nassauische Heimstätte, in addition to other countries; it is also represented in the board of directors of the club and supports the goals and ideas of the club.

Besides the comprehensive travel and day trip offerings, which represent a good opportunity for social contacts for older residents, Wohnen & Leben offers many other activities, which strengthen neighborhood cooperation: the most different information events, the support of tenant festivals, a tenant meeting place in Frankfurt-Eschersheim and the popular sports and games events in various housing developments.
